At the Alliance Arena will be held the final match of Champions League between Bayern Munich and Chelsea London. The meeting will be held today at 20.45(CET).

Quite unexpectedly, that these teams were able to get into the Champions League final. When were decided semifinal couple, most expect the El Classico in Munich. But it happened that none of the Spanish giants could not pass his rival. Bayern looked no worse than the Royal Club, and this were decided only in the penalty shoot-out where more fortunate Yupp Haynkes team. Very few people believed on the victory of Chelsea over the Barcelona, but thanks to the great luck and great dedication of the players Di Matteo, Blue still managed to pass the Catalans.

Interestingly, both teams had roughly the same this season in all competitions, which involved. Domestic Championships Bayern and Chelsea cannot take to plus himself. Munich did lost the championship by Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea finishing sixth in the Premier - league.

The final match of  DFB Cup between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich takes place today at 20.00(CET) in Berlin.

The Bavarians go into the clash having lost four consecutive direct matches against their opponents and have also suffered the indignity of surrendering two championships in a row to the Bundesliga winners from Dortmund.

In terms of injury, Dortmund will be without veteran Patrick Owomoyela. For Bayern, almost everybody is ready to go. There are no updates on Daniel Van Buyten yet but he wouldn't have started in any case right after coming back from injury. Lucas Barrios, by the way, is leaving Dortmund for an adventure in China and Danijel Pranjic will perhaps be going down the same road.

Borussia Dortmund has broken the Bundesliga record for most points in a single season after thumping Freiburg 4-0 at home on Saturday. BVB has finished the campaign on 81 points, two ahead of the previous record held by Bayern Munich which recorded 78 during the 1998-99 season.

If Dortmund does proceed to win this match, this will be the first double in club history. Borussia Dortmund have kept a clean sheet in their last 7 matches in DFB Pokal while Bayern Munich have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 matches in this competition.

Atletico Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao. Bucharest’s newly built stadium National Arena will host this season’s Europa League final that will be played between the Spanish Liga rivals with the same home strip and similar names. This match will take place today at 20.45(CET).

Whoever wins this game will record Spain’s seventh success in this competition, and the fifith in the last nine editions. Only Italy has more triumphs, nine.

This will be the ninth Uefa Cup and Uefa Europa League final to be contested between sides from the same association, with the most recent being last year’s decider in Dublin, between Porto and Braga.

Atletico de Madrid will be looking to repeat their triumph of 2010 after reaching the final on the back of 11 successive wins since losing 2-0 at Udinese in the group stage.

This is Athletic’s first European final since 1977 and they’ve managed to reach this stage of the competition in style, eliminating huge names like Manchester United, Shalke or Sporting Clube de Portugal.

This season Atheltic won their home Liga fixture against Atletico Madird in October (3-0), Fernando Llorente scoring a brace, but a Falcao double kept the points in Madrid in their second match of the season at Vicente Calderon.

I could analyze stats and all that, but in games like this I find them irrelevant. What’s for sure is that we’ll see two Spanish sides that play a quality football, there is no favorite in this one in my opinion.

There’s plenty of talent and firepower on both sides, so Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao should serve up a final to remember with hopefully lots of goals.

As for betting advices I would say that both teams to score should be a safe pick, there’s been lots of goals in both teams previous fixtures in Europa League and there’s no reason for them to be shy in this one.

The sides are very evenly matched, they know each other well, I can’t rule out extra time in this one. I can’t pick a winner, but if I’d have to than I would take Bilbao to lift the trophy, they are less experienced but showed great enthusiasm so far in the competition and won me over, probably not just me.
